MISSION STATEMENT
CouchBusters, Inc. provides job placement services for injured and displaced workers. We address a very specific part of the workers compensation and disability claims process assisting injured workers back into the workforce when they are unable to return to their current employer in their previous occupation. Through our employment services and reports, we provide labor market intelligence to insurance companies, self-insureds, risk managers and TPAs when evaluating work readiness and loss of wage earning capacity.

CouchBusters, Inc. is not a vocational rehabilitation company that provides nurse case management or retraining services. As an employment consultant, we identify jobs that are within the physical restrictions of injured workers in a related occupation or in an alternate occupation that provides on-the-job training.

New York State has gone through several legislative changes since the reform on March 13, 2007. The new 2012 Disability Impairment Guidelines are now in effect that define the way law judges will rule on loss of wage earning capacity (LWEC). As a New York-based company, we are active with many local associations and are proud to be a Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise. CouchBusters provides a LWEC Assessment that is an objective report that analyzes the vocational factors and wage earning capacity in a case. Our reports are the only defense you will have to minimize the duration of benefits awarded to an injured worker at the time of classification.
